The LiFi system uses light to transmit data and video underwater, allowing for conversations while diving. The underwater cameras will stream video directly to the computers on Porrima via a LiFi network.

PROPRIETARY DATA

Data Farming

Converting ships into real-time monitoring stations for marine environments.

A total of 99.9% of all data is about land and air, and only 0.1% is about the sea. The Porrima ships will be equipped with advanced sensors to gather real-time marine data in the form of parameters, images, sound, DNA, and all underwater communications are handled using LiFi (Internet over Light). On board, LiFi technology enables rapid, secure data transfers.

eDNA Labs

In eDNA Labs, environmental DNA is sampled and identified using a clean room and computer, providing unprecedented data for conservation and economic research.

Track marine biodiversity and habitat health using non-invasive sensors, including 3D imaging of coral reefs to assess their health. A hydrogen-powered computer will be onboard Porrima 111 to sample and identify e-DNA. We will test and deploy microplastic samples and separation techniques. Create immersive experiences to raise awareness about marine conservation. Rather than simply protecting, we want to put Nature back on its evolutionary path.
